FBL Financial Group Inc. has hired Daniel Greteman as the company’s new chief information officer. He succeeds Raymond Wasilewski, who was named the company chief operating officer – life companies in July 2014. Greteman will be responsible for all aspects of information technology for FBL and its affiliated insurance companies, which do business as Farm Bureau Financial Services. Prior to joining FBL, Greteman was senior vice president and chief information officer for Nationwide Mutual Insurance Co. in Des Moines, where he had served in several executive positions. Earlier in his career Greteman worked for Accenture, a global management, consulting and technology services firm, where he became a partner in 2000. He has a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from Iowa State University.
