Featherlite is sold; operations to remain in Cresco

72 wordsAll Latest News, Manufacturing, Statewide NewsWaterloo-Cedar Falls Courier: Cresco’s trailer-making Featherlite company has been sold, along with two other trailer companies. The Exiss, Featherlite and Sooner brands have been acquired from Universal Trailer Corp. by a newly formed corporation, owned by Tim Masud and Howard Palmer. The UTC manufacturing plants in Iowa and Oklahoma also are being acquired as a part of the transaction. Exiss, Featherlite and Sooner trailers will continue to be produced in those plants.
