Federal money coming to Iowa to help repair bridges

Radio Iowa: The Iowa Department of Transportation has been awarded federal money from two programs to help repair bridges across the state. One program provides states money to repair the driving surface of bridges; Iowa got $25.3 million from it. The other money comes from what’s called the Competitive Highway Bridge Program, and it is limited to rural states; Iowa will receive more than $33 million from it.
