103 wordsAll Latest News, Government Policy and LawThe release of Iowa’s monthly jobs and employment report will be delayed because of the ongoing shutdown of the federal government. The report on September’s job numbers originally was slated to be released today. Iowa’s report relies on data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the Census Bureau and the U.S. Department of Labor. The people who provide the data are not working because of the shutdown. Iowa Workforce Development will release additional details, including a revised release date, after the government is reopened and reports are able to be put together, the state agency said in a news release.
