In less than one year, FemCity Des Moines has more than 100 business members, placing it among the fastest-growing chapters of the international group. According to a news release sent by FemCity Des Moines, the group was the fastest-growing chapter in the month of October, beating larger cities including Philadelphia and Toronto. As of Nov. 18, FemCity Des Moines had 137 paying business members and more than 200 community members. The group holds events each month with regular attendance of more than 50 women.
