FemCity Des Moines announced a new initiative called “Fems Give Back.” The initiative is a partnership between FemCity Des Moines and Trixie’s Salon & Spa that will be set up like the organization’s First Friday Coffee Connections program. A representative from a nonprofit geared toward women or young girls will be invited to speak about their organization. Tickets to the event will be $10 with all proceeds going toward the nonprofit. FemCity will continue with the First Friday Coffee Connections program. “FemCity Des Moines is full of amazing women who are always looking to better their community,” said FemCity Des Moines President Erin Huiatt. “We are thrilled to add this initiative to our networking group.” For more information about the initiative, visit the FemCity Des Moines website.
