FemCity Des Moines conference announced
FemCity Des Moines will host a one-day conference later this fall, Erin Huiatt, the organization’s president, announced. The Beyond Business Conference will provide a platform for women and gender-nonconforming people to share their knowledge and business with others, with an emphasis on connection, collaboration, and personal and professional growth, according to a release. FemCity Founder and CEO Violette de Ayala will also be at the event, Huiatt said. The conference is scheduled for Sept. 15 at the River Center. Speaker applications are open until June 1. Event tickets will open in July and range from $79 for FemCity members to $99 for nonmembers. More information can be found at the event website.
