A fire, most likely caused by an electrical problem, damaged a corner of a building at 4521 Fleur Drive this morning.

The building, constructed five years ago, was vacant at the time of the fire, but Scott McMurray, vice president of Coppola Enterprises, which owns the building, said a tenant was getting ready to start build-out construction. McMurray could not say how much the damage would cost to repair, but he did not think it would delay the tenant’s move-in date. He would not disclose the tenant’s name.

McMurray said he arrived at the building at 3 this morning and fire crews were already on the scene. The damage was minimal, McMurray said, affecting one corner of the building and a section of the roof fire crews had to pull off to put out the fire.

“We’ll get it put back together quickly,” McMurray said. “They’re already working on it.”
