First female NFL official to headline Women Lead Change Conference
Sarah Thomas, who officiated the Super Bowl last month, will headline the 2021 Women Lead Change Quad Cities Conference on Oct. 13. Thomas officiated her first NFL game in 2015 and was the first female official to ever work a major college football game, to officiate a bowl game and to officiate in a Big Ten Stadium. “We are thrilled to bring Sarah Thomas in for our Quad Cities Conference,” Tiffany O’Donnell, CEO of Women Lead Change, said. “She has changed the paradigm for women everywhere. Once again, sport proves to be a great equalizer.” Other speakers include Dr. Michelle Harper, emergency room physician and author of “The Beauty in Breaking;” and Erica Dhawan, founder and CEO of Cotential. Registration for the conference is open at Women Lead Change’s website.
