Central Bancshares Inc., a community bank holding company based in Muscatine, announced that it has merged two of its subsidiaries, Galesburg, Ill.-based F&M Bank and Muscatine-based CBI Bank & Trust.

Corridor Business Journal: Central Bancshares Inc., a community bank holding company based in Muscatine, announced that it has merged two of its subsidiaries, Galesburg, Ill.-based F&M Bank and Muscatine-based CBI Bank & Trust. The combined organization has $1.1 billion in assets and 230 employees, and serves over 43,000 consumer and business customers through 16 offices in eastern Iowa and western Illinois.
