The Food Bank of Iowa is one of 10 Feeding America food banks across the country selected to compete in the Great American Milk Drive Challenge. The challenge, organized by the National Dairy Council, is designed to provide more milk to children, families and seniors in Central Iowa and other areas across the country. The public can help the Food Bank of Iowa win the challenge by making a small online donation, which will be used to purchase milk for the food bank. The winner of the monthlong challenge will be awarded $10,000 to purchase milk. The Food Bank of Iowa also will host special events on June 16. To learn more, visit the food bank’s website.
