If you’ve waited for the perfect time to try the food truck fare located throughout downtown Des Moines, wait no longer. The Downtown Community Alliance announced today that it will hold the inaugural Out to Lunch on July 14. The event will feature food trucks along with live music from Exit 113. Out to Lunch will be held from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Mercy College of Health Sciences campus, located at 928 Sixth Ave. A free shuttle will also run during the event, with pickup on Seventh Street between Locust Street and Grand Avenue. Free parking also will be available at 701 Crocker St., located across the street from the event.
