Former California mayor to speak for MPO
Bill Fulton, former mayor of Ventura, Calif., will speak about the economic and fiscal implications of regional planning as part of the Des Moines Metropolitan Planning Organization’s speaker series in conjunction with The Tomorrow Plan. The speech will take place from 7:30 to 9 a.m. on Jan. 12 at the World Food Prize Hall of Laureates, 100 Locust St. The event is free and open to the public; to register, send an email to Bethany Wilcoxon at bwilcoxon@dmampo.org or call 334-0075.
