Courtney Kay-Decker, who was director of the Iowa Department of Revenue from 2011 to 2019, has been selected by the Internal Revenue Service as one of 10 new members of the Electronic Tax Administration Advisory Committee, the IRS announced. Kay-Decker will serve as vice chair for the committee’s new working year, which begins this month. Formed in 1988, the committee works to prevent identity theft and refund fraud in support of paperless filing of tax and information returns. Kay-Decker is currently of counsel at Lane & Waterman LLP in Davenport  She has previously served as state co-chair of the Identity Theft Tax Refund Fraud Information Sharing and Analysis Center.
