John Kelly is scheduled to headline next week’s Land Investment Expo at the Iowa Events Center in Des Moines. Kelly will be interviewed onstage by Anthony Scaramucci, the founder of Skybridge Capital, and a former White House communications director. The expo, first held in 2008, focuses on all aspects of agriculture, from financial components to sustainability, emerging trends and policy consideration, according to its website. It traditionally has drawn farmers, financial leaders and policymakers. This year’s event will also feature presentations by Bill Northey, USDA undersecretary for farm production and conservation and former Iowa agriculture secretary, and former Iowa governor and former U.S. ambassador to China Terry Branstad. The expo will have health and safety precautions in place, including a requirement that all participants wear a mask and a safe distancing seating arrangement. There is also an option to watch an online stream of the expo. For more information, visit the Land Expo website. It is hosted by Peoples Co., a national real estate brokerage firm.
