The law firm of Fredrikson & Bryon has expanded its construction and real estate groups in Iowa with the additions of shareholders Jodie McDougal and Ryan Haaland and senior associate Jonathon Schroeder. McDougal, who most recently was a partner at the Dentons Davis Brown Law Firm, is a construction and real estate attorney who handles litigation and transactional matters for clients within the construction, real estate and landlord/leasing industries in Iowa and elsewhere. Haaland, who also previously worked at Dentons Davis Brown, works with real estate developers, landowners and business owners in Ames and elsewhere. Schroeder has a real estate and business planning practice in Ames, where he advises clients on real estate transactions, construction law, landlord/tenant matters, homeowners’ associations, business and nonprofit formation, and zoning and development law.
