Frontier Airlines has announced three flights a week from Des Moines to Phoenix as part of its move to offer warm getaways from chilly locations, the airline announced. The flights to and from Phoenix will be on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday beginning Dec. 6. Departures from Des Moines will be at 8:35 p.m with arrival at 10:56 p.m. Return flights leave Phoenix at 3:50 p.m. and arrive in Des Moines at 7:53 p.m. If that doesn’t get you warm enough, Frontier is adding flights from Chicago O’Hare to Cancun, Mexico, five days a week.
