The Iowa Association of Legal Administrators “Jeans for Justice” fundraising event will take place Oct. 26 to raise money for Iowa Legal Aid, a nonprofit organization that provides legal assistance to Iowans in need.

Members of the legal community are asked to participate, including attorneys, judges, clerks and students. All proceeds will go directly to Iowa Legal Aid.

Organizations that wish to participate may do so by requesting a suggested minimum of $5 donation  from participants for the privilege of going casual on Friday.

A total of $2,920 was raised in 2011. More information about how to conduct a “Jeans for Justice” campaign is available online.
