GDMCVB launches summer ad campaign
The Greater Des Moines Convention and Visitors Bureau (GDMCVB) unveiled a summer advertising campaign aimed at vacationers in Midwest markets. Citing research that shows travel plans are primarily made by women, the bureau has developed two 30-second ads and multiple 15-second ads aimed at women in Omaha, Kansas City and all across Iowa. The 15-second ads feature Prairie Meadows Racetrack and Casino, Adventureland Park, Homemakers Furniture, the Iowa Speedway, the Science Center of Iowa, the city of Des Moines Park and Recreation Department, Valley Junction, Valley West Mall and the Blank Park Zoo.
