Girls Scouts of Greater Iowa CEO to retire, search for replacement continues
Girl Scouts of Greater Iowa, which serves nearly 14,000 girls and adults in Iowa and parts of Nebraska and South Dakota, is looking for a new chief executive officer to run the organization following the announcement that current CEO Jamie Boersma will retire Aug. 31. Boersma has been with GSGI since 2011. The organization’s board of directors has established a CEO search committee. Kristin Hunter, chief operating officer of GSGI, will act as interim CEO until the position is filled.
