Chris Goodale has been named executive director of Above + Beyond Cancer. The charity formed in 2011 by oncologist Richard Deming works to elevate the lives of people with cancer, at times with adventure trips. Goodale replaced Brad Anderson, who became state director for AARP. For the past 14 years, Goodale has worked in the Office of College Advancement at Simpson College, his alma mater. His development work also included stints at Drake Law School, the University of Iowa Foundation and the National Balloon Classic in Indianola.
