Goodwill of Central Iowa recently launched the Job Ready Pathways Skills Training Program. The seven-week initiative will provide certification and paid training, focusing on the cultivation of soft skills necessary for successful employment. Following a workplace readiness curriculum, the program includes a three-part learning series: job readiness, job seeking and job keeping. Participants will predominantly focus on job readiness, developing vital soft skills such as professional communication, time management, teamwork and critical thinking.
