Goodwill of Central Iowa announced plans to open its largest retail store and donation center to date during the fourth quarter of 2025. The new facility, located at 1205 S.E. 16th Court, Suite 200 in Ankeny, aims to expand both shopping and donation opportunities. “We are thrilled to continue growing in the Ankeny community. This new retail store and donation center presents an exciting opportunity for Goodwill of Central Iowa, allowing us to expand our impact through job training and environmental sustainability,” Mary Hunter, president and CEO of Goodwill of Central Iowa, said in a prepared statement. The new store will accept gently used items such as clothing, electronics, and household goods.
