Former Vice President Al Gore will train attendees at a May 5-7 seminar in Cedar Rapids on how to address climate change issues through presentations, letters to the editor, and other methods. The event, organized by the Climate Reality Project, of which Gore is chairman and founder, will feature Gore and other authorities describing what the group considers a crisis — climate change. They also will discuss how to engage diverse networks and communities. Applicants must be accepted to attend.
