Governor announces funds available to support rural projects and housing assessments

Kim Reynolds and the Iowa Economic Development Authority announced two competitive funds available for rural communities with a population under 20,000. Funding of up to $400,000 has been allocated to the Rural Innovation Grant Program, which may award up to $300,000 in grants; and the Rural Housing Assessment Grant Program, which may award up to $100,000 in grants to support the use of publicly available information. More information on both grants is available online through the IEDA.
