The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Iowa announced that it has named Greg Grant as the organization’s interim CEO. Grant, who has been chief operating officer since 2015, will lead the organization during the national search to replace Jodie Warth, who on Monday began a new role as national director for quality assurance, child and club safety with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. During his tenure, Grant has led the development and opening of two new clubs: the Gregory and Suzie Glazer-Burt Club on Drake University’s campus and the E.T. Meredith Jr. Club at East High School. He has more than 30 years of experience in management and leadership, spanning the industries of real estate, waste management and hospitality services. The Des Moines native graduated from East High School as well as DMACC and Drake University. The search for a new CEO for Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Iowa is expected to take three months.
