Greater Des Moines residents can discover a fun surprise while supporting downtown businesses on Saturday, March 19, during the Great DSM Hot Air Balloon Hunt. Glowing hot air balloons will be stationed in different locations throughout downtown from 6 to 7 p.m., weather permitting. Residents are encouraged to discover several hot air balloons glowing throughout the different business and retail districts. Clues that hint at the exact locations of the glowing balloons will be posted on the Partnership’s Downtown DSM social media channels each day leading up to the event. Final locations will be announced the morning of the event.
