West Des Moines-based Submittal Exchange LLC and Indianola-based AGiTV Inc. are among 11 Iowa companies that received grants last week from the Iowa Economic Development Authority board. Submittal Exchange received $150,000 in direct financial assistance to hire additional staff, enhance its product offering and expand its market presence. The project represents a $46,000 capital investment and is expected to create 23 new jobs, according to a news release. AGiTV, which provides Internet services for cattle producers, received a $50,000 grant through the Demonstration Fund to develop live-streaming broadcasts.
