The Greater Des Moines Partnership and Schabel Solutions have partnered to launch a diversity, equity and inclusion management certification program. The program consists of six workshops that will take place every other Thursday from Feb. 23 to May 4 and will last from 9 a.m. to noon.
Participants will learn about the role they can play in fostering an inclusive environment and how to build and sustain successful workforces, workplaces and marketplace outcomes. To earn the DEI management certificate, individuals must complete all six workshops, including Understanding the DEI Journey, Mitigating Biases and Microaggressions, Beyond Diversity, Leading Diverse Teams, Designing an Organization’s DEI Strategy, and Attracting and Retaining Diverse Talent. Those interested in participating must register by Feb 20.
