Starting on May 17, Downtown Des Moines will host the Out to Lunch series, a midday summer event that features local food trucks and live music by local artists. The event series, scheduled for seven Wednesdays from mid-May to late June, aims to create a unique opportunity for downtown Des Moines residents and employees to socialize with others in vibrant, outdoor settings. The first event will be held at the Principal Financial Group campus on High Street, and subsequent events will take place at various locations throughout downtown. The event is free to attend and open to the public. The Out to Lunch series is produced by the Greater Des Moines Partnership and is sponsored by a variety of local organizations.
