Greater Des Moines Public Art Foundation’s executive director stepping down

M. Jessica Rowe is stepping down as executive director of the Greater Des Moines Public Art Foundation, the organization announced today. According to a news release, a search committee has been established to find her successor. “It has been a privilege to lead this venerable institution and to support some of the most compelling and adventurous artists working today,” said Rowe, who has led the foundation for 12 years and is principal of Rowe Consulting Inc. The release stated that during her tenure, Rowe oversaw an unprecedented period of growth for the foundation. “She has put the foundation in a position to continue and expand our collaborations within Greater Des Moines,” said Tim Hickman, past president of the foundation.
