Greater Iowa Credit Union, based in Ankeny, and First Community Trust N.A., based in Dubuque, announced a new partnership to offer trust services, investment management and retirement services to GICU members. First Community Trust’s services include investment management, retirement planning and retirement income strategies, as well as trust and estate administration. The partnership will “bring a more comprehensive financial experience to our credit union and help Iowans have greater access to advice they can trust about issues that matter,” said Scott Zahnle, president and CEO of GICU. Jason Freese, an FCT trust officer with more than 25 years of financial industry experience, will have an office at GICU to offer on-site help and services. The credit union has branches in Ames, Ankeny, Greater Des Moines, Indianola, Waukee and Denison.
