Green & Main, the National Trust for Historic Preservation and Iowa Heartland Resource Conservation and Development will host a pair of sustainable renovation events next week.

Green builder Bill McAnally and Judy McClure, preservation architect from the American Institute of Architects, will present on green historic buildings at the Green Teas at Green & Main event from 4:30 to 7 p.m. on Sept. 23. The free event will take place at 800 19th St, the site of the Green & Main pilot project.

A Green Building Forum will take place from 8:30 a.m. to noon on Sept. 24 starting at Smokey Row Coffee Co., 1910 Cottage Grove Ave. Admission is $10.
