Grinnell Mutual, the largest primary reinsurer of farm mutual companies in North America, announced it has added two positions to its senior leadership team. Andrea Brunk has been named vice president of Strategic Experience. The division will encompass Grinnell Mutual’s Project Management Office, Marketing and Customer Experience, and Strategic Initiatives departments. Brunk joined Grinnell Mutual in February 2016 after building a portfolio management career in health insurance. She is an Iowa State University graduate and maintains designations as a Certified Project Management Professional and a Certified Agile Leader. Also, Lauren Augustin was named vice president of Product Transformation and Delivery. She joined the company in 2008 and was most recently the assistant vice president for Personal Lines and Farm Underwriting. She will lead Grinnell Mutual’s multiyear enterprise project to transition all of its business platforms to the Guidewire system, and oversee the development of new products and the company’s positioning in the market. Augustin is a graduate of Truman State University and has a Master of Business Administration from the University of Iowa.
