Hagenow joins Iowans for Tax Relief

88 wordsAll Latest News, Government Policy and LawChris Hagenow, former Iowa House majority leader, has joined Iowans for Tax Relief, a taxpayer advocacy group. Hagenow will serve as the group’s vice president, a position in which he will develop public policy positions related to lowering taxes, limiting government spending and eliminating some regulations. Hagenow, a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa, served 12 years in the Iowa Statehouse, representing parts of Dallas and Polk counties. His new role will be an advisory one and he will not be participating in the organization’s lobbying efforts.
