HealthPartners UnityPoint Health’s Medicare Advantage plans have been awarded five-star ratings from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services for 2022. The top rating from CMS places HealthPartners UnityPoint Health as one of the highest-rated Medicare plans in the nation, providing excellence in care, coverage and service to its Medicare members. In total, 74 Medicare contracts received a five-star rating this year, with those organizations covering 26.6% of Medicare Advantage enrollees on a weighted basis. “This is an incredible accomplishment, especially achieving a 5 out of 5-star rating within the first five years of offering Medicare Advantage plans to members in Iowa and Illinois,” Becky Woody, president of HealthPartners UnityPoint Health, said in a news release. “I’m proud of our team’s hard work to ensure our members receive high value care and service.” HealthPartners UnityPoint Health plans to expand its Medicare Advantage service to four additional counties in Iowa and Illinois for 2022, which will make it available in 48 counties.
