Holmes Murphy & Associates has again been recognized by Business Insurance magazine as one of the Best Places to Work in Insurance. The West Des Moines-based insurance and benefits broker was ranked eighth among 16 companies recognized in the medium company category, which includes firms with between 250 and 1,000 employees. Another West Des Moines-based broker, Bearence Management Group, was recognized as a Best Place to Work in the small employer category for companies with 25 to 250 employees. The two-part assessment includes a confidential employee engagement and satisfaction survey and an employer benefits and policies questionnaire. Those companies chosen demonstrate they have created a high-quality workplace environment allowing their employees to thrive.
