Homesteaders Life Co. announced that it has selected Jill Muenich to head a new subsidiary, Homesteaders Solutions Group. Muenich, who has more than 30 years of experience in sales and financial services, joined Homesteaders as vice president for business development in March 2019. “Homesteaders is seeking to enable prearrangement and funding for 2 million new consumers by 2030,” stated Lyndon Peterson, executive vice president for sales and marketing. “To achieve this, we are committed to leveraging our resources to invest in bringing innovative new solutions to market that greatly increase opportunities for connecting consumers with funeral professionals.” As president of Homesteaders Solutions Group, Muenich will be responsible for integrating and managing a growing portfolio of resources that today includes eFuneral, Domani’s Preneed Planning Center and Domanicare. “Our strategy is to invest in consumer engagement and innovative resources that help funeral providers and marketing organizations provide excellent experiences for families in every aspect of their engagement,” said Steve Shaffer, Homesteaders president and CEO. While Muenich’s most recent work has focused on the funeral space, her experience extends to Fortune 100 companies including MassMutual, Verizon and Pepsi.
