The Iowa House will likely consider changes to the state’s medical cannabidiol law, increasing the number of practitioners who can give Iowans access, reports the Cedar Rapids Gazette. The Medical Cannabidiol Board in the Legislature is considering measures that would expand authority to physicians’ assistants and nurse practitioners to ensure Iowans don’t have to travel long distances to meet with health professionals, House Speaker Linda Upmeyer said.
