Housing starts hit four-year high
U.S. housing starts hit their highest rate in more than four years during October, Reuters reported.
The Commerce Department announced that housing starts increased 3.6 percent to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 894,000 units, up from September’s 863,000-unit pace.
A second report, released Monday, shows that home builders’ confidence hit its highest level in 6 1/2 years in November.
