Capital Crossroads 2.0 is seeking input from stakeholders in the early work on the next five-year plan for Des Moines and other areas within 50 miles. You can still take a survey.

In addition, two town hall meetings are planned. Those sessions are from 4:30 to 6 p.m. July 11 and Aug. 30 at the Central Library.

We interviewed the tri-chairs  of Capital Crossroads 2.0 — Kristi Knous, Angela Connolly and Jay Byers — along with staffer Bethany Wilcoxon to discuss the issues likely to get attention, and how this round features an even more diverse and inclusive committee.

The report, guided by the research of Market Street Services, is expected to be completed late this year.
