Hubbell Foundation gives $125,000 to Simpson College
The James W. Hubbell Jr. and Helen H. Hubbell Foundation has awarded a $125,000 gift to the Iowa History Center at Simpson College, which will support the center’s Speaker Series.
“The funds make big events possible,” said William Friedricks, the center’s director. “We’re already working on some exciting programs for next year.”
The Iowa History Center at Simpson was founded in 2006 to address serious deficiencies in the preserving, teaching and recording of the state’s history.
