Humboldt woman named Small Business Person of the Year
Deb Davis, CEO of Sister’s Homestyle Entrees in Humboldt, has been selected as Iowa Small Business Person of the Year by the U.S. Small Business Administration. A panel is reviewing all the packages, and a national winner and two runners-up will be picked later. The national winner will be recognized in Washington, D.C., on May 8. The 33-employee Sister’s Homestyle Entrees offers home-cooked, prepackaged entrees that are ready to thaw, heat and eat. Davis will receive her award at the Iowa Smart Conference in Des Moines on May 7.
