Hy-Vee converts some of its full-service Market Grille restaurants into express eateries

99 wordsAll Latest News, Retail and Business, Statewide NewsDes Moines Register: Hy-Vee Inc. is pulling back on its chainwide full-service restaurants and is in the process of converting several of its Market Grille locations to self-service eateries. Customers will order and pay at a walk-up counter, much like what was available before Hy-Vee introduced its sit-down restaurants in 2012. Locally, the stores making the switch are at 2450 E. Euclid Ave., 3221 S.E. 14th St. and 4605 Fleur Drive, all in Des Moines; 1700 Valley West Drive, 1990 Grand Ave. and 725 Jordan Creek Parkway, all in West Des Moines; and 410 N. Ankeny Blvd. in Ankeny.
