Hy-Vee Inc. is hiring 2,000 full- and part-time pharmacy technicians at its more than 275 pharmacies located in eight states including Iowa. The West Des Moines-based grocer is also starting a new pharmacy technician apprenticeship that prepares the technicians with the required training and resources to become nationally certified to administer vaccinations such as the COVID-19 vaccine, flu vaccine and others.
