Jason Buhrow has been named chief data officer for Hy-Vee Inc., the company announced. Buhrow will oversee the development and governance of data strategy for the West Des Moines company. He previously was business technology vice president for FBL Financial Group Inc. He has a bachelor’s degree in management information systems from the University of Northern Iowa. Buhrow starts his new position on April 19. Hy-Vee has more than 275 retail stores in eight Midwest states and more than 88,000 employees.
