Regional wireless communication provider i wireless announced Craven Shumaker as its new president and CEO effective July 16. 

Shumaker previously served in executive leadership posts at Sprint Nextel Corp.. In his time with Sprint Nextel, Shumaker led initiatives to launch and build top-tier markets, develop the sales culture and distribution channels including, big-box deployment. 

Shumaker holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He also earned a certificate of business leadership from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University.
