IFBF discusses policy issues at conference
The Iowa Farm Bureau Federation (IFBF) called for changes in flood-management policies along the Missouri River as it wrapped up its 2011 Summer Policy Conference in West Des Moines.
Voting delegates also supported highly erodible land and wetland compliance requirements of the federal government’s farm bill, but don’t want it to be linked with federal crop insurance eligibility in the future.
