IMT Computer Services, a part of IMT Insurance in West Des Moines, announced it has acquired the PDSpectrum insurance processing platform, which is based in Omaha. The company did not disclose the financial terms of the transaction. “By combining our teams and resources, we’ll be able to continue investing significantly in the development and expanded feature set of PDSpectrum,” said Aaron Madison, senior manager of IMT Computer Services. PDSpectrum, a policy processing platform, provides underwriting, rating, billing, claims management, accounts payable, general ledger and other services to insurance carriers and agents. Its employees will remain based in Omaha. IMT Computer Services is the largest provider of software to Farm Mutual insurance companies, serving nearly 400 Farm Mutual insurance companies in 19 states. With the acquisition, the company will be able to deliver the PDSpectrum platform to clients beginning immediately, Madison said.
