Iowa isn’t a bad place to be if you’re a woman, according to the latest ranking from online source WalletHub. The site recently ranked Iowa No. 9 on its 2018 list of Best & Worst States for Women. WalletHub

A new Pet Supplies Plus store wants to leave its mark on its Davenport neighborhood. Located in the Village Shopping Center, 902 W. Kimberly Road, the store is the fourth Iowa-based Pet Supplies Plus for business partners Suzy Schares and Jeff Stickfort. Quad-City Times 

Which Wich, the custom sandwich shop based in Dallas, is opening a second restaurant in the Des Moines metro at the end of March. Franchisee Tonya Salvucci said the newest store will be at 727 S.E. Alice’s Road in Waukee’s new Autumn Ridge retail development. Her first shop opened nearly three years ago in Ankeny. Salvucci also plans to open a store in Ames this summer. Des Moines Register
